Harbin pear
(pyrus ussuriensis)

Harbin pear is the hardiest of all pears. It can reach heights of 40-50' with leaves that are glossy dark green in summer changing to red and redish purple in the fall. Tolerant of a broad range of soil conditions. Requires full sun but is semi-shade tolerant.

Wildlife Food & Cover: Excellent food for birds and mammals. Good cover-nesting, perching songbirds.

Flowers: Pink fading to white April - May

Fruit: 1 1/2" diameter, greenish yellow pome
