Villosa lilac (late boom) is a medium to large shrub with white-purplish fragrent flowers. It is moderately fast growing, intolerant of shade but is tolerant of drought.
Wildlife Food & Cover:Fair cover-nesting, escape, perching
Flowers: Fragrant lavender to white flower clusters in late spring
Fruit: Woody capsule, flat tannish seeds
Ecosystem: Dry Oak Forest, Mesic (Moist) Oak Forest
