Golden Currant is a moderately fast growing shrub. It produces attractive clove-scented, lemon-yellow leaves, which can reach heights of six feet tall. Grow in reasonably fertile, well-drained soil in full to part sun. After flowering, cut back shoots to strong buds, and remove one-third to one-fifth of old shoots at the base.
