Larix laricina


Tamarack is a moderately fast growing tree with slender trunk and pyramidal crown. Leaves are deciduous; needle like that turn yellow and shed in the fall. Tamarack can reach a height of 50-70' tall, is shade and drought intolerant and prefers loamy moist soil.
