Description

False indigo is a moderately fast growing shrub that is used for shoreline and riverbank stabilization. It can reach heights of 5-20', is intolerant of shade but tolerant of drought. It prefers sandy soil and is a legume so it can extract nitrogen from the air and enrich poor soil.
