Volunteer Project: Cut/Stack Scotch Pine

Description:
The task this day will be to cut and stack scotch pine that has encroached on the reconstructed prairie. Depending on snow depth snowshoes or skis may be desirable for the half mile trek to the work area. Information about the site can be found on site's web page. This event will be led by Site Steward, Tom Rice. No advance sign-up, but contact us if you have a large group.
Directions:
From MN Hwy 65 in Bethel: 1 mile E on Co Hwy 24 (237th Ave N), then 3.5 miles S and E on Co Hwy 26 (229th Ave N), then 0.25 mile S on Co Rd 15. Park near entrance on west side of road. GPS coordinates: 45°22'52.40"N 93° 9'47.74"W.
